About Theodosis:
Theodosis is Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs at OKTO, an innovative fintech that powers mobile-first, omnichannel, embedded responsible payments, digitalizing traditional payment methods across European Entertainment, Leisure, and Gaming Industries.
Theodosis is an experienced gaming insider with multi-year experience in regulatory monitoring and control of electronic gaming machines. He has a track record of working and overseeing the development, deployment and operation of large-scale regulatory monitoring, control and precommitment systems, in a number of highly regulated jurisdictions, including the US, Australia and New Zealand.
He is now part of the OKTO team, aiming to modernize payments in the gaming and leisure industries, by introducing omnichannel digital payments in land-based casinos and retail distributed gaming, as well as in i-gaming. Theodosis believes that digital payments offer the perfect tool to regulators and operators alike, since they can now better understand player behavior, implement responsible gaming and player protection practices, improve implementation of AML requirements and many more, while aligning gaming industry payment practices with the ever-increasing tendencies in the world, to drastically reduce cash transactions in favor of electronic transactions.
Theodosis combines his management and commercial skills with valuable customer relationships and regulatory know-how, expanding the company’s international growth.
