About Tammi:
Tammi Barlow-Marang serves as the Associate Vice President and Manager of Responsible Gaming for the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority in the United Arab Emirates, where she develops, implements, and enforces responsible gaming policies and programs that uphold the national framework, advance consumer protection standards, and shape regulatory strategies that align public health priorities with industry growth. Her role is central to promoting awareness, preventing gambling-related harm, and safeguarding vulnerable individuals as the UAE establishes a regulated commercial gaming environment. She has spent nearly 15 years leading global Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the gaming industry, holding leadership positions with Bally’s Corporation, Rush Street Interactive, Caesars Entertainment, William Hill, and IGT.
Before transitioning into gaming, she spent 15 years in roles dedicated to improving the health and well-being of at-risk individuals in underserved communities across the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa. Across both sectors, her work has focused on harm prevention, stakeholder collaboration, and policy development that prioritizes public health. Her efforts continue to center on reducing gambling-related harm, supporting evidence-based regulation, and building systems that promote consumer well-being.
