About Professor Rose:

I. Nelson Rose is Professor Emeritus at Whittier College in California and a Visiting Professor at the University of Macau.

He is an internationally known scholar, writer and public speaker and is recognised as one of the world’s leading experts on the law of gambling.

A Harvard Law School graduate, Prof. Rose created the first class in Gaming Law in America in 1983.

Prof. Rose is co-author of Internet Gaming Law (1st & 2nd editions), Gaming Law: Cases and Materials (1st edition), and Gaming Law in a Nutshell (1st & 2nd editions); and, was co-editor-in-chief of the Gaming Law Review for 12 years.

He is best known for his columns and landmark 1986 book: “Gambling and the Law®.”
