Paul is a Principal at Senet and leads the Advisory practice. Paul was the former Deputy Secretary, Liquor, Gaming & Racing with the NSW Department of Industry and prior to that was Deputy Secretary, Liquor, Gaming & Emergency Management with the NSW Department of Justice.
With over 20 years’ experience in strategic and operational leadership and a career that has moved through compliance and enforcement, public policy and regulatory reform, Paul has deftly navigated ambiguous, complex and volatile spaces. Paul advocates for considered risk-taking, continuous improvement and innovation and believes that we can both maximise opportunities and minimise risk to secure economic and social outcomes that underpin sustainable industry and advance public interest.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics), a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Legal Studies, and a Master of Law and Management.
Paul is a graduate of the Executive Development Program – Confronting Challenges and Embracing Opportunities — Strategic Leadership in the Gaming Industry. A joint program of the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business and Extended Studies and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas International Gaming Institute.
