About Nina:
Nina Henningsen specialises in intellectual property law as well as Media & Entertainment, including Gaming & Gambling.
Nina is the head of Mazanti’s IP and Media & Entertainment department and is acknowledged as a leading legal advisor within her field. She advises on complex copyright issues and has extensive experience within advising national and international companies on all matters in relation to creating, exercising and enforcing IP rights, including in the context of transactions.
Through the years, Nina has been involved in a number of high-profile cases within the media and entertainment industry. She assists a large number of leading national and international media groups, TV stations, production companies and publishing houses in their use of copyright and advises in negotiations with Danish and international collective management societies in cases involving the clearing of copyrights in relation to the many new distribution forms within radio, television and music on all platforms, including “catch-up”, TV, SVOD and APPs. Her many years of experience have resulted in in-depth industry knowledge and an extensive international network.
Nina also has comprehensive experience in advising on cases concerning social media, sports rights, television formats, advertising and computer games. She assists international, online game operators and platform providers and advices on all aspects of the Danish gaming legislation, including the complicated license procedure, compliance issues, marketing, trademark issues, formation of contracts as well as regulatory issues in connection with international transactions.
Nina often speaks at national and international conferences. She is on the committee for the Association for Entertainment and Media Law (Foreningen for Entertainment- og Medieret), is on IBA’s Media Law Committee and is a member of the Danish Copyright Society (Dansk Selskab for Ophavsret) and IMGL (International Masters of Gaming Law).
