Louis Rogacki, Assistant Attorney General is Deputy Director for the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Rogacki was sworn in as a Deputy Attorney General in 1993 at the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, where he handled both licensing/regulatory and enforcement matters. In 2002, he moved to the Division of Gaming Enforcement with the Service Industry Licensing Bureau (SILB). He was appointed Deputy Director and Assistant Attorney General at DGE in November of 2016. AAG Rogacki has served key roles at DGE regarding the implementation of S-11/S-12 in 2011, which made the Division the principal gaming regulatory agency in New Jersey, internet gaming in 2013, and again in 2018 when New Jersey launched retail and mobile sports wagering.
As Deputy Director he has operational oversight of DGE’s service licensing, regulatory prosecutions and in-house technical services lab (legal). These responsibilities encompass all aspects of iGaming and retail and mobile sports wagering, including but not limited to AML, Responsible Gaming and addressing illegal offshore operators and sweepstakes operators.
Rogacki also serves on the advisory board for the Seton Hall Law School Gaming law, Compliance and Integrity Bootcamp. He has served in this advisory role since 2019.
