About James:

James Moller is a Senior Project Officer with the Victoria Police Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit (SIIU). James has been with the SIIU since its establishment in 2013, assisting with various investigations, betting data analysis, stakeholder engagement and preparing Victoria Police government and industry submissions. In 2019, James was appointed Deputy Chair of the Intelligence and Investigations Advisory Group, providing advice to the National Integrity of Sport Unit’s Sports Integrity Taskforce prior to the establishment of Sport Integrity Australia.

James has written Victoria Police submissions to the Commonwealth Government’s 2015 ‘Review into the Impact of Illegal Offshore Wagering’ (O’Farrell Review) and 2018 ‘Report of the Review of Australia’s Sports Integrity Arrangements’ (Wood Review). James has contributed to Sport Integrity Australia’s development of the Australian Sports Wagering Scheme, as well as to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s 2021 Global Report on Corruption in Sport.

In 2021, James was seconded to the Office of the Racing Integrity Commissioner to explore the links between the racing industry and organised crime.

James is a member of the Victorian Sport Integrity Network and the INTERPOL Match-Fixing Task Force. James was also awarded the inaugural Australia New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) scholarship, studying sports law at the University of Melbourne.
