About Gifty:
Gifty-Rita Amoah, is the Deputy Director Legal at the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
She has been in the gaming industry for almost a decade and is instrumental to legislative reforms, restructuring efforts and modernization of the Commission to meet the needs of an evolving gaming industry in Ghana.
With over 12 years of legal experience, Gifty-Rita currently oversees the Inspection, Investigation, Compliance &Enforcement (IICE) Directorate, and leads the Gaming Act legislative review and amendment team. She has also been appointed as an Ambassador for the Women in Gaming, African chapter.
Gifty-Rita holds a BA in Philosophy and Political Science, an LLB and LLM in Oil and Gas, all from the University of Ghana. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Regulation and an Executive Masters in Leadership from the prestigious London School of Economics.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, she is a fashion enthusiast passionate about art and crafts, having trained as a fashion designer, balloon, and beadwork artist.
Inspired by her daughter Kamalma and her Catholic Boarding School education, Gifty-Rita is committed to living authentically and making a positive impact every day.
