Brian Krolicki serves on the Nevada Gaming Commission and as Vice President of IAGR, positioning him at the forefront of gaming policy and regulatory oversight in Nevada and internationally. He is scheduled to begin serving a two-year term as IAGR President beginning in late 2026.
Brian was appointed to the Nevada Gaming Commission in February 2023 and reappointed to a four-year term ending in 2029. On the Nevada Gaming Commission, Brian adjudicates licensing, suitability, enforcement, and regulatory matters involving global gaming operators, technology companies, manufacturers, and financial stakeholders—carefully balancing public policy, economic competitiveness, and regulatory integrity.
Through IAGR, he collaborates with regulators across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America on issues including digital wagering, compliance modernization, cross-border enforcement, and global best practices.
A veteran financial executive and nationally recognized public official, Brian Krolicki has built a distinguished career at the intersection of gaming regulation, public finance, and economic development. Brian began his career on Wall Street in private banking and capital markets with firms including Smith Barney and Bankers Trust, where he developed expertise in complex financial structures, institutional investment, and risk management.
A temporary appointment in Nevada state government evolved into a 24-year public service career, marked by four statewide election victories as Lieutenant Governor and State Treasurer. He is the first individual in Nevada history to be term-limited twice from constitutional office and stepped away from elected-office having never lost an election.
As Lieutenant Governor, Brian led Nevada’s economic development and diversification efforts, serving as Chairman of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development, Chairman of the Nevada Commission on Tourism, and President of the Nevada State Senate. Nationally, he was elected to serve a record three-year term as Chairman of the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association. As State Treasurer, he received the national Award for Excellence in Public Finance and, in 2004, was named the nation’s “Most Outstanding State Treasurer.” He also served as President of the National Association of State Treasurers, representing officials responsible for managing more than $3 trillion in public funds.
Across decades of public and private board leadership, Brian has demonstrated expertise in governance, regulatory oversight, and high-stakes financial matters. He qualifies as a “Financial Expert” for audit committee purposes under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act. A graduate of Stanford University, he continues to serve on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards in addition to his regulatory duties.
