IAGR2026 will bring together a global community of gambling regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, compliance professionals and regulatory advisors at the LW Marriott Hotel in Lima, Peru, from 19 to 22 October 2026.
As regulatory frameworks evolve and markets transform, convening as a community to exchange insight and practical experience remains essential. IAGR2026 includes four days of expert discussion, cross-jurisdiction collaboration, and practical insight into the future of gambling regulation.
This conference marks IAGR’s return to Peru after 11 years, following our successful 2015 event in Lima.
The conference is hosted by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR). The conference theme is Steady hands, shifting ground: Advancing regulation in a connected world.

What do I need to bring with me to the conference?
We recommend bringing your laptop if you’re the kind of person who likes to type up notes. Bring your mobile phone so you can access the conference app, take photos of slides and share your conference highlights on social media. Water, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code for the conference and the Opening Reception is smart casual.
The Gala Dinner is formal, we suggest cocktail wear.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
No. We’ll have a list of who’s coming at the conference desk, and we’ll give you a name badge to wear throughout the conference.
Will there be internet access at the conference?
Yes, complimentary WiFi access will be available to all attendees. Details will be provided at the conference.

Your conference ticket includes access to the full four-day conference.

What about the food and dietary requirements?
Morning, afternoon tea breaks with refreshments and lunch will be provided during the conference.
Refreshments will be available at the Opening Reception, and a sit-down formal meal will be served at the Gala Dinner.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
If you can’t attend for any reason after buying your ticket, you can exchange your ticket with a colleague or get a refund.
Cancellations must be requested in writing to mquinn@iagr.org per the following guidelines:
- 90+ days prior – Full refund
- 60–90 days prior – 50% refund
- 30–60 days prior – 25% refund
- Less than 30 days prior – No refund

What plug types are used in Peru?
In Peru, power plugs and sockets (outlets) of type A and type C are used. The standard voltage is 220 V at a frequency of 60 Hz.
What's the weather like in Lima in October?
Winter is on its way out in Lima, Peru in October, with the temperature rising steadily and cloud cover decreasing slightly, although it can still be very overcast. The average temperature in October is 18°C with a high of 20.5°C and a low of 16°C.
Rainfall
Despite the cloud cover, average rainfall in Lima in October is very low. If it does rain, showers will be very light and brief. Rain falls in October on one day on average.
