Campaigning for safer gambling

In its 2024–2026 strategic plan, ANJ set an ambitious goal: to significantly reduce the proportion of problem gamblers in France. Key initiatives include:

  • T’as vu, t’as perdu/You saw you lost (2022): Launched during the Football World Cup, this campaign used rap music and impactful messaging to challenge misconceptions about sports betting and make young gamblers aware of the real consequences of excessive gambling.

  • Derrière les mentions/Behind the mentions (2024): Introduced for Euro 2024, this campaign creatively highlighted the often-overlooked legal disclaimers in gambling advertisements.

While not an IAGR award winner, this initiative was recognised by judges for its innovative use of regulatory tools and communication strategies.

The webinar will feature insights from:

  • Elsa Trochet Mace, Communications Director, ANJ
