Networking Events

The opportunity to establish meaningful connections continues as one of the main reasons so many global gambling regulators and industry thought leaders come to the IAGR conference each year.

The IAGR networking events can lead to new partnerships, new ideas, shared learnings and collaboration across countries.

IAGR2023 included several different networking opportunities, which were all included in the ticket price.

Conference refreshment breaks and luncheons
Daily

Each conference day includes scheduled breaks for refreshments and lunch. These breaks are ideal for getting to know fellow delegates and discussing your conference insights.

Opening Reception and Cultural Night at Bonnington Farm
Monday 16 October, 6pm

We officially kicked off IAGR2023 with an opening reception and cultural night. The event was the perfect opportunity to relax and meet new industry peers and old friends while experiencing the culture of Botswana with music, dance, dinner and drinks.

Gala Dinner at the Three Dikgosi Monument
Thursday 19 October, 6pm

The formal gala dinner is a sit-down event that celebrates a successful conference. Sit back and share key takeaways, stories and fabulous food with your colleagues and speakers. The winners of the IAGR Regulatory Award were announced during the dinner.

Sight-Seeing Tour
Friday 20 October

Delegates joined event hosts, Botswana Gambling Authority for a morning and afternoon tour of some of the local tourist attractions the day after the conference.

In the morning, we’ll head to the National Museum and the Thapong Visual Art Centre. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the Mokolodi Nature Reserve.

 

Golf Day
Sunday 15 October

We had a limited number of spaces for golf enthusiasts to tee off the day before the conference.
