John Pierce, Director of Enforcement and Intelligence, Gambling Commission Great Britain.
John joined the Gambling Commission in February 2024 as Enforcement and Intelligence Director, where he leads the Commission’s Enforcement, Intelligence, Anti-Money Laundering and Sports Betting Intelligence teams.
John has over 20 years of experience leading complex local and regional criminal investigations, proceeds of crime work, intelligence, and trading standards cases and has worked for Cheshire Police, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Trading Standards North West at a senior level. John also has detailed accredited financial investigation and POCA SAO experience, along with recent disclosure, digital disclosure and civil litigation experience on high-profile cases of national importance.
