President’s comments – March 2024
Last month, I had the privilege of visiting Rome, laying the groundwork for our eagerly anticipated joint conference with the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) this October.
The venue promises an inspiring backdrop for the rich discussions and knowledge exchange we look forward to.
As part of the buildup, I’m joining our friends on a panel at the Italian Gaming Expo in Rome in April. If any members would like to join me on that panel, you’d be very welcome to what will be an interesting conversation around regulation.
As the call for speakers concluded at the end of February, I’ve been moved by the enthusiasm and expertise demonstrated in your submissions. The volume and calibre of proposals this year exceeded our expectations. My sincerest thanks to everyone who contributed.
Our team is reviewing each proposal, committed to working with IMGL to craft an outstanding program that mirrors the wealth of knowledge and experience within our community.
As we shape an agenda brimming with insightful sessions and networking opportunities, your support as a sponsor could elevate the experience even further. If you’re interested in leaving a mark on this year’s conference, please reply to this email for more details on sponsorship opportunities.
Looking forward, I extend a warm invitation to our members for our upcoming webinar later this month, an initiative we’re proud to host alongside the National Gambling Board of South Africa. This session will critically examine responsible gambling through the crucial perspective of advertising. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
If you’re interested in collaborating on a future webinar with us, please get in touch by replying to this email. We’re always looking for ways to add more value to our members.
One final update: I’ll be leading a panel at the IAGA International Gaming Summit in May. Do reach out if you are travelling to Washington—it would be great to meet up with members. Once again, if you’d like to join and participate in a very international panel, there are a couple of spots left as I write this.
