About Carly:
Carly Richardson joined Entain Group in May 2018 and took on the role of General Counsel in July 2019. She leads the Legal & Compliance team, which is responsible for advertising compliance, customer safety policies, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations, as well as a range of other legal and regulatory obligations relevant to the sector.
Working within this broad remit, Carly is responsible for implementing regulatory change within the business and measuring its effectiveness and impact, including from a customer safety perspective. Carly also works closely with her colleagues in the global Entain Group to stay up to date with regulatory responses in other jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Entain, Carly had over 12 years’ experience in legal private practice, predominantly at King & Wood Mallesons working across a range of practice areas include competition, litigation, IP/IT and corporate.
Carly is a member of the Law Society of Queensland and Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.
