About Mark:
Mark is a seasoned gaming industry executive with a career spanning land-based casino operations, slot machine manufacturing, gaming systems development, online gaming, lottery technical operations and regulatory affairs at the local and federal levels internationally.
His resume includes working at Harrah’s Entertainment at the property and corporate level, at WMS Gaming Inc. and at Scientific Games. He worked with the International Gaming Standards Association for fifteen years representing those gaming companies and also as a Board of Directors member. In 2017 he joined the association as the Managing Director of GSA Europe. In 2018 he was named Vice President of IGSA in addition to his responsibilities looking after the European office. In 2024, he was appointed President of IGSA. He retained his responsibilities as Managing Director of GSA Europe.
In 2019, Mark was named co-project leader of the European Committee for Standardization’s TC/456 which, at the European Commission’s request, successfully created the first ever pan-European gaming standard for “Reporting in support of Online Gambling supervision”. He recently worked with the government of the Republic of Georgia creating regulations and technical requirements for land-based and online gaming as well as help establish the Regulatory Authority.
